If you have done some research into the process of buying or selling a home and you consider that the stakes are too high to do it yourself, then you will need to hire a professional.

The purchase of real estate will most likely be the single largest investment that you will ever make. In addition, they will be familiar with the local school system, utilities, shopping, and whether homes in the area are appreciating or depreciating in value.
